So if the pitch assists batsmen then it's a good cricket pitch, but if it assists bowlers then it isn't!!!....So you might have liked the first match between KKR and BRC more than yesterday's MI vs. DD...but I did the opposite...

If you never want pitches to assist bowlers, why have them at all? Just place some bowling machines and then let batsmen have a go...
You missed it completely my friend.:)

For me the most enjoyable moments of the match were Steyn running in and bowling a couple of really fiery overs at Hayden and Heyden using all his skills to survive.

It was also the one match I saw from first to last ball but I think it was that great bowling at the start that hooked me to that game.

Yeah, it has been really enjoyable seeing Steyn bowl whenever I have too... :)

There's no stopping him in ODIs...this boy is the future of Indian middle order in ODIs along with Yuvraj, Dhoni and probably one between Uthappa, Raina and Badrinath...
He is the most talented youngster to come out of India in the last few years where I am concerned. I hope that he has a lot of success.

Really loving Polly right now. 2 in a row baby!!! Loving how we're now in with a chance of making a second half of the season push up the ladder. Feeling a lot better about this team than I was before, although Sanath and Uthappa need to convert their starts.

And good to see the scores coming down a bit too. Maybe using the same decks over and over again is causing this?

Dhoni just got utterly owned by Warne.
Yeah, don't know why but he was content to just play from the crease against him. Contrast that to how beautifully Raina used his feet against Warnie.

Really loving watching Raina and Rohit bat this tournie. Hopefully Kohli and Jadeja get more opportunities too, because they're up there talent wise with the above two.

He did have a point, infact your post responding to him was the exact point he was making.
Not really....Precisely because my post was in reply to a post by days of grace...

Edit: Weldone caught SJS bowled DoG 0.....Finger raised by umpire Pasag :)

DoG made a sarcastic post on the state of the pitch (and on the state of pitchs in world cricket), to which you responded with the exact same point he was making, mistakenly thinking he was saying the opposite of what he was actually saying ie missing the sarcasm.

Could ask James to change it from weldone to hardoneby. Or just leave.

EDIT: And yes, the third umpire says yer gone.
