CW Battrick Cup, season nine

Adamc

Cricketer Of The Year

Towse 1-0-9-0
Ashton* 20 (35 balls)
Howland 18 (15 balls)
Last Wicket: Allott b. Downer 29 (FOW: 47/1)

Decent enough start v nibbs on a cracked pitch. Hopefully we'll get stuck into his two 17yo bowlers and end up with 300+.

Dissapointing match, we were really just one wicket from having them properly on the ropes, but Gareth and Dwight couldn't get it, and it all fell apart from there. Next year...

nibbs

International Captain

Hmm, batting performance wasn't too convincing but it was more than enough in the end. Somewhat annoyed to lose three wickets to respectable 17yo's though.

Seems slightly unfair that I play 3 straight at home. Willing to play the match at Brackenhursts home?
