Hopefully Oram manages to grind through a decent innings and hold it all together. He definitely needs to, in order to get some confidence as it is a long time since he has had decent time out in the middle.

Very true.

91-5 really isn't a very good score. I'm hoping the conditions are extremely bowler-friendly. If not, the fact that Tudor, Palladino, Chambers and Bopara have got half our side out is quite a worry.

Second-gitis. I would like to brand this form of batting. No other international side do it better than us. (See new sign)

What's the excuse this time? Everyone shifted a spot so we are disadvantaged?

Comparing this with the infamous 1958 tour, in which memorable names such as JW D'Arcy, WR Playle, JT Sparling and LSM Miller powered us to such imposing totals during the Test series as 94, 47, 74, 67 and 85, that team managed 140 against Essex before the first Test...

Tbh we should keep Oram in, form or no form. The chopping and changing of the side has really hurt us imo. We should have faith in our players, especially our senior players, in order to gain some solidity in the side. This tour is really a glorified development tour and when we get players performing we should persist with them in that same position, no changing the batting order or dropping players because or form unless they have barely scored a run in the past year in any format.
Your best post. Ever.
