Just saw the highlights of the game given i was in the Old trafford rush to get tickets for Barca's visit on tuesday night, heard a lot of arguing about Ballack goal shouldn't have been a penalty etc etc, but i did feel deep down Chelsea would have sneaked a victory yesterday which was very disappointing to hear was hoping United could have held on to a draw at least. But i guess for the entertainment value of the premiership i guess its kind of good to have the season going down to the wire.

Although hope is still out that United can win the league & CL i have a feelign Chelsea will get their hands on one..

Ah, 95, the reason why i'm bricking the idea of playing West Ham so late in the season
Yes, vaguely remember it. However, was only six, don't remember the race in general really.

Really can't see us slipping up against them this time though, would be different if it was away at Upton Park.

Bastard. I was at uni.

Basically everyone thought Liverpool would cave in for Blackburn (who were two points ahead going into the final day, if memory serves) to spite ManUre, who everyone assumed would give The Irons a bit of a touch-up to no avail.

Again, IIRC, Blackburn took the lead but yer Scousers fought back to win 2-1 (Redknapp scored the winner I think) presumably handing the title (and their first hat-trick of consecutive wins) to United. Happily the Hammers hadn't read the script and held out for 0-0 despite about a year of injury time.

Remember a McClair shot cleared off the line very late on that would've handed us the title n all. ****in **** **** *********************************************************'s

Luka Modric :>

Now all we need is a goalkeeper, a backup centreback, a winger, a midfielder and another striker and we're set for CL football.

BARNES OUT
This has nothing to do with City. They're supposed to be one of the best clubs (if not the best) in the world, why are they so afraid of actually having a go anywhere in Europe. It's sad to watch.

City > United. Mainly because they're no douchebags who have a serious moan at referees after every single loss. Ffs shut up Queiroz.

Won't be complaining if we win the European Cup though.

Prior to Wednesday I'd have liked us to attack but with the benefit of hindsight, given our attacking players played so poorly, at the very least we had to have a tight tactical system, which we did. Thought Ferguson deserved credit for recognizing this quite early, we attacked in the first few minutes, and then it was counter from there on.
