Really would have been much more apt if he was, for example, selected for the tour of England and averaged 90. As it is, he did break NZC's heart. That's what you get if you treat someone like crap though.

I think either way it woerks... it probably depends on whos pov you are looking at on the lyric side of it..
I think the song sums up NZC treatment of Sinclair ..right from the start I gave you my heart.. debut 215 runs.. yet when you were down NZC low on who to select.. they picked Sinclair yet treated him like a clown...
