Good to hear. He is a very good bowler when he bowls at that speed - although the speed may be an indication of him being in good rhythm rather than the speed causing him to bowl well. It would seem that a few were slipping out as full tosses, but that was likely due to the dew.135-140km.
Say what?Lol, way to leave the best bowler in the world till the game is over Yuvraj.
Who is a better bowler than Brett Lee atm? Murali hasn't done too much in ODIs for a while.Say what?
Taking 3 wickets for chips was not good?Jadeja batting well. It is a shame that Warne does not realise that he is a bowler by trade otherwise he could have made an impact with ball as well as bat.
PS: The bad boy of Cricket Star is an AWFUL bowler. How did he get into the RR team?
Talking about Jadeja not Warne.Taking 3 wickets for chips was not good?
Haha, yea, that made no sense.Lol, way to leave the best bowler in the world till the game is over Yuvraj.
I love Watson but what makes you think he'd be a good captain? I really can't see it.Said it before and I'll say it again - best young bat in the world is Watson
Injuries aside, he'll captain Oz and play 100 tests
BTW, this is not based on the IPL, it's based on technique and talent.
Forget the bowling (it's a bonus), this guy can play
No *you* have to justify why someone who's only just scraped his Test average fractionally below 30 is the best bowler in the world at the moment, the burden of proof lies with you not me.Who is a better bowler than Brett Lee atm? Murali hasn't done too much in ODIs for a while.
Bowlers tend to let them go a bit more when they know they only have to bowl 4 overs as well.Good to hear. He was talking about ODIs though, from what I can gather. I certainly took it that way at the time.No *you* have to justify why someone who's only just scraped his Test average fractionally below 30 is the best bowler in the world at the moment, the burden of proof lies with you not me.
Lee's scraped a few good Tests together in favourable conditions and against batsmen who've a weakness against that combination. So what? Season before last he was average, season before that... average. He's not in the top 3 of either bowler rankings either.
But this is Munaf Patel. As far as pace goes, he is a freudian nightmare.Bowlers tend to let them go a bit more when they know they only have to bowl 4 overs as well.
He is almost 27 though. That would be almost mid-career most of the time (not disputing his talent).Said it before and I'll say it again - best young bat in the world is Watson
"School of hard knocks" - he's really had to work for his chanceI love Watson but what makes you think he'd be a good captain? I really can't see it.
