You'll Never Walk Alone
Awesome work by Woods and Turner for teh Spits. Humid conditions.

Panthers still going at 6 an-over. Need some more breakthroughs, his lower order looks weakish. C'mon Littlejohnnnn

It's all quietened down a bit in the last few overs. Woods even nearly bowled a maiden! I'm hoping Prutton has a good performance in him today...

End of Over 14: 81-3, runrate=5.79
Lucas 2-0-14-0
Nkosinathi* 42 (30 balls)
Hutchinson 28 (34 balls)

Last Wicket: Farrell lbw b. Turner 7 (FOW: 24/3)

Have to get Nkosinathi and Hutchinson out soon, they're killing me. I don't know how many we'll be able to chase on a slow wicket against a strong bowling lineup. Hmmmm. Off to bed now I think.

If one of them goes I'm just about done, although Nkosinathi could be useful with the tail if he hangs around.

Ideally, they'd bat for another 20 overs

End of Over 24: 152-1, runrate=6.33
Brayley 2-0-25-0
Desouza* 58 (47 balls)
Packer 69 (82 balls)
Last Wicket: Armstrong b. Mills 18 (FOW: 35/1)

Going pretty much as expected.

End of Over 34: 200-3, runrate=5.88
Lucas 7-0-50-0
Nkosinathi* 96 (85 balls)
Hutchinson 90 (101 balls)

Last Wicket: Farrell lbw b. Turner 7 (FOW: 24/3)

Nkosinathi and Hutchinson bring up the 200, it'd be nice if they were still around in 10 overs as the run rate needs a bit of a boost again. Was up around 6.40 at one stage. 300 runs would be a good total.

4th and 5th wickets fall at 255:

End of Over 45: 255-5, runrate=5.67
Turner 8-0-35-3
Nkosinathi* 126 (118 balls)
Wotton 0 (0 balls)

Last Wicket: Howard c. Kemp b. Turner 0 (FOW: 255/5)

Hopefully Nkosinathi can keep the strike and see out 50 overs with the tail.

edit: Or maybe the 6th wicket will fall in the next over as they rotate singles

I'm backing the 7th to go in the next over as Mabudhfasi keeps the strike.

End of Over 50: 312-5, runrate=6.24
Knowles 10-0-71-1
Patel* 8 (8 balls)
Appleby 0 (0 balls)
Last Wicket: Packer b. Knowles 132 (FOW: 312/5)

Pretty much as expected, though didn't think we'd get 5 wickets.

If we can make 50 I'll be pleased.

End of Over 50: 279-10, runrate=5.58
Woods 9-0-66-5
Nkosinathi* 138 (127 balls)

All out for 279, a bit disappointing not to reach 300 but then after being 3 for 22 it's not a bad result. Nkosinathi with 138 not out and Hutchinson with 113 lead the fightback (in fact they were the whole fightback). Now, hopefully my bowlers bowl well.

Kepler early would be nice!

I would be up for Plate, but reckon you would be better off getting teams to sign up. Rather then auto entering 3rd and 4th place. Also rather then call it a Plate, just call it a Challenger Series. Here are the side I noted were interested so far:

1. Connells Estates CC (384)
2. Brackenhurst (5748)
3. Coco's Nuts (6533)
4. Tawonga Tigers (4929)
5. Tamil Eelam CC (9382)

And that's the end of the match. Scaly Piscine CC won by 255 runs.

End of Over 19: 57-10, runrate=3.00
Summers 9-2-20-6
Siyabonga* 20 (46 balls)

Pretty much how I thought it'd go.
