Top stuff, I think that this pitch is a tad too flat though and that the groundmen should possibly prepare a bit more early moisture in the pitch to combat the potential dew factor later on.

Hopefully, the IPL will lead people to know that Sreesanth is a talent, but no more and must be worked with rather than thrown in to open for his IPL team or India. I feel that he loses infinate pace through the air by not following through, as one example. I was impressed with Raina and Badrinath's hitting but Hussey did seem in a class of his own in that innings. Even though 240/5 is a great total, I am sceptical of the ability of the Chennai bowlers:

Oram, Joginder Sharma, Amarnath, Gony and an out of form Muralitharan.

200 will probably be a par total in the IPL. Every franchise looks to have real issues with their bowling. I mean Wilkin Mota looked more like ICL and conversely Chennai’s bowling aside from Murali isn't anything to write home about.

You're probably right about 200 being a par total given Internationals batting against Indian Domestic players, but Oram and Murali would have to be right up there in contention for best two international player bowling pair for a franchise surely?
