Very convincing win for me today on GFI

Magical Ponies 2/321 (50)
Burger 138 (133), Terry 73* (53), Farmer 68 (93)

The Procastinators 134 (38.5)
Potgieter 6/31 (9.5), Canning 2/24 (10), Tedstone 1/33 (9)

The Procrastinators Magical Ponies
Top Order: remarkable wonderful
Middle Order: mediocre superb
Lower Order: woeful woeful
Seam Bowling: proficient masterful
Spin Bowling: competent superb
Fielding: mediocre feeble
MOTM: Burger

Good to see Burger making some big runs, with even Farmer cashing in. Had an opening partnership of 156, which must be close to my best in recent times against decent opposition.

Should have rested a few bowlers for the cup itbt.

Bowled them for 70, 10 wicket win. Puts me outright third with Fuller at second on the OD table.

And that's the end of the match. Four Pillars and Poor Fillers won by 1 runs.
Four Pillars and Poor Fillers 206-10
Woodhouse Wanderers 205-9

End of Over 50: 205-9, runrate=4.10
Stonebridge 10-4-20-3
Trainer* 52 (67 balls)
0 (2 balls)

49.6 . Stonebridge to Vosloo
Drifting down the leg side, Vosloo flicks but can't make contact. Nice take by Beaumont.
49.5 . Stonebridge to Vosloo
Firmly played out to the on side.
49.4 W Stonebridge to Charlton
Give me an 'L'! Give me a 'B'! Give me a 'W'! What does that spell? LBW! He's out!
49.3 . Stonebridge to Charlton
Charlton looks to slog that over mid wicket, but it bounces a little more than expected and thuds into his pads.
49.2 . Stonebridge to Charlton
Charlton showing some aggression, but his forceful back foot drive goes straight to cover.
49.1 W Stonebridge to Otoole
If you pad up to a spinner of Stonebridge's quality too often, sooner or later it's going to end in tears.

End of Over 49: 205-7, runrate=4.18, reqrunrate=2.00 (206-10)
Wikus 10-1-50-2
Otoole* 3 (5 balls)
Trainer 52 (67 balls)
Last Wicket: Soleyn b. Wikus 32 (FOW: 194/7)

What a ****ing game.

Got pumped and i am in a battle to sta out of the auto relegation zone in div 4. Why the **** am in such a high quality div 4? So very gay...

Only got 128k in gate receipts today, not impressed. It's as if the crowd knew I'd thrown the game so no-one turned up. Usually get upwards of 230k a game.

Won by 7 wickets chasing 70 odd. Slightly annoyed that I lose the 3 wickets actually. But it's still a win, and it has ensured that I'll finish no lower than 6th barring 3 major upsets.

Just when I needed a NRR boast their gun batsmen around exceptional gets a hundred. Could roll them for under 250 though. Got no bowling, so it should still be an easy win. The other team coming equal first in on track for 350 too.

Lol, getting hammered. Missing Kepler, Woods and Turner to get their PFL up for Sunday but on a humid day on an uneven wicket, this is a little bit embarrassing.

End of Over 12: 84-1, runrate=7.00
Hamed 1-0-11-0
Binnington* 30 (36 balls)
Salisbury 17 (10 balls)

Last Wicket: Bolder Run Out 25 (FOW: 58/1)

As usual in my league this season, today could easily go either way. Bromby and Platt have seen off their best bowler's opening spell, but really need to pick up the run rate now on a flat pitch:

End of Over 16: 68-1, runrate=4.25
Peel 1-0-5-0
Bromby* 45 (47 balls)
Platt 21 (46 balls)
Last Wicket: Alshaun c. Derry b. Gauhar 1 (FOW: 9/1)

Platt in particular is weirdly quiet for a destructive batsman on normal orders. Must be biding his time. Classic time-biding behaviour, this.

End of Over 29: 145-1, runrate=5.00
Prutton 5-2-8-0
Binnington* 52 (74 balls)
Salisbury 48 (77 balls)

Last Wicket: Bolder Run Out 25 (FOW: 58/1)

Prutton is keeping it tight but we could do with some wickets.

Looks like Division Three for another season, unless Runners lose a match from here. :(

Code:
1. Ranatunga's Runners 11 9 0 2 36 35.51
2. Jaffna Jets 11 9 0 2 36 26.87
Still coming first in FC, but I think I might throw a match and just focus on ODs, until my stamina's better. Also the fact that Jeithoon might not be able to play FC after this season, kind of forces my hand too. Got no one to blame except fot myself, got carried away with the Cup success and forgot about the OD league and conserving PFLs.
