One of the select few with a higher strike rate in Tests than in ODIs.Jeez this Bazid bloke is slow
Did Habibul finish his career with that honour? I know he held it for quite a while during his career. One of the select few with a higher strike rate in Tests than in ODIs.
Nah, finished nine runs (0.18 of an SR point) short in the end.Did Habibul finish his career with that honour? I know he held it for quite a while during his career.
I have a feeling he'll be given a Test recall at some point in the next year or two, so he could fix that up I suppose.Nah, finished nine runs (0.18 of an SR point) short in the end.

Both of those are boosted by games against really dire opposition. IIRC he averages about 27 with the bat and 55 with the ball against the top 8.Saqibul is a star. Ever since he first burst onto the scene I thought he'd be one of their best ever ODI players, and he's definitely trying to prove me right.
1236 runs at 34.33, strike rate of 68.
46 wickets at 34.07, economy rate of 4.24.
Those are excellent figures.
Admittedly he has done exceptionally well against the likes Bermuda, Canada and Scotland. Still, 27 isn't too bad for Bangladesh once you exclude his innings against minnows. I know to be classified as a good ODI player his average should be over 30, but I firmly beleive he'll continue to average in the mid-thirties with both bat and ball and start to perform better against some of the better ODI nations. He's also played a few innings at #6 and #7 that influence his average significantly. Both of those are boosted by games against really dire opposition. He's a talent, no doubt, but his record is misleading.
