Haha actually listening to blue****e if they get a win on derby day is pretty much as bad. It's all **** when you're a Tranmere fan round here though

Think Liverpool just about deserved it, feel sorry for Arsenal who have really fallen away, shame.

BTW, barring a disaster for United tomorrow, 3 of the semi finalists were in the semis last year, mad. I would imagine that Liverpool fancy themselves against Chelsea and would fancy themselves against Barca, however if it comes down to Liverpool-United in the final couldn't see past a United win, Liverpool haven't even scored against them in 4 years IIRC

Fantastic game of CL football - ebbed and flowed throughout. Absolutely gutted we lost, but Liverpool were better for a greater portion of the match. Thought we had an outstanding first 20 minutes, where we tore apart the scousers but as soon as Senderos was Hyppia-watching we never really got back in to it.

Torres's goal was clinical in its finish and that penalty was a load of rubbish and a very, very marginal decision at best. If that was a penalty than Hleb's in the first leg should have been a double pen. The fact that it happened instantaneously after one of the greatest runs resulting in a magical 2nd goal is nothing short of soul destroying. Great run by Walcott, first time I've really seen him run at multiple defenders. Still think we are a top class striker short to support Adebayor (Bendtner is rubbish) and a solid defender to partner Gallas, someone like Benzema would be a dream acquisition.

3 years without a trophy. Dissappointing to say the least. I feel we still lack depth and for or all attacking prowess we don't have a gameplan B if we start to get dominated. It's time to get some big bodies in there and some more middle aged recruits instead of having to rely on kids all the time. Need some more mature players like Rosicky, Hleb etc.

Gallas a terrible captain? Mentioned it before and felt like saying it again not that today had anything to do with it.

You know Fabio Capello has made his mark already as the manager of England when his tax probe has extended to his family. Managers of the English football team and controversy seem to go hand-in-hand it seems.

This is not true, Liverpool knocked United out the cup two years ago didn't they?

United were poor after the penalty in the first half, and Ferdinand doesn't look too great.

EDIT: And as I type that, he comes back out for the second period.

Penalty was a tough call - IMO he got a bit of the ball if you study it closely enough, though on first viewing looked a fair penalty. Really poor penalty from De Rossi though.

EDIT: And VDS has been his typically poor self of late.

EDIT: Get in. That should be it. And Get Rio off, which looks like happening now.
