*Official* English Football Season 2007-08

Would rather liverpool went out, the only reason being if we both got to the final, them singing 'You'll Never Walk Alone' would **** over anything our fans threw out, dont want the embarrasment (not to mention the effect it'd have on the players).

Oh, and it'd annoy the brother in law.

Who really cares though?

Everyone knows our national side sucks, which is why I couldn't give a flying **** about how well or not they do.

Interesting. 2 goals in first 15 mins, good stuff.

And Exeter go one down with the Ginger Ninja in attendance.

There's solid arguments not to care about international football... no-one cares about it anymore, for one thing. To me, international weeks are annoying in that it means United won't be playing that week.

The only 'solid argument' I can see is the masses being generally nonsensical when they bother to engage that underused organ in their head that allegedly elevates them above animals.

Have you seen any evidence in the last five years that more than one or two English players care about the shirt? I haven't, hence I'm not going to bother about supporting them.

I care, but I believe, the youth of today seeing quality foreign players with technical ability is infinitely preferable to seeing dross average English players who are just quick and one dimensional. We need to create our own Cescs or Cristianos, and that needs to be done at youth level, and I mean before they ever get to their clubs. The fact is English players are largely sub-standard and the only decent ones are so over-priced only the two richest teams in the country can afford them.

Useless divs who just run around like useless chickens ain't going to cut it, I'm afraid. So let this game be a template for coaches. Don't just glory in physical mediocrity, where kids who can boot it long are elevated, look for silky skills and ability, then maybe our National team won't be a pathetic International disgrace.

Sorry for the rant, but trying to distract myself, and I can't enjoy this top match because of a ****ing terrible one I'm listening to on RadoDevon :@

Edit: Oh and btw one of the englishman on show here and another who'll be on show tomorrow night have retired from England duty, a mild sign that they don't care, Perhaps?
