BARNES OUT
We always lose to the Dogs. There's 2 teams I'm never confident against, the Broncs and the Dogs, and if you look at their records against us since 2000 you'll see why.

Was a fizzer, as expected. Good to see the Broncos hammered as well, shame it wasn't by 30 or 40 though.

Antony Quinn hattrick

And Mick Crocker's 100% success rate continues with Melbourne. To be there for three seasons or so and not to have a lost a game is staggering.

Meh over golden point matches, especially when they get decided by a penelty goal. Bring on golden try or go back to draws for non finals or SOO.

Sad to hear about Luke Covell's wife and daughter being in a car accident on the way to game. Covell didn't even bother to get changed and drove to hospital in his playing gear (I presume he wasn't wearing his footy boots though).

On the flip side is this the season to be a thug in the NRL? Craig Wing gets a cheap shot put on him in round one, Ben Ross smashing Cooper Cronk with his elbow and Brett White getting involved, Paul Gallen giving Anthony Laffranchi a 'facial' and then Canberra's Michael Weyman, decided to king hit Titans' forward Daniel Conn in the 67th minute under the eye when they had the ball. Weyman was sent off and could have a holiday up to four weeks.

how the hell was Weyman's hit a king hit, it was a fight, there was a bit of pushing and it wasa 50/50 chance he was going to through the first punch, what Danny Williams did for melbourne a few years ago is a king hit, what Weyman did last night was starting a stink.

I didn't see the game, so I was going off from what I read the report about so I went from there, so settle down.

How soft was Brett Stewart's try?
how soft are souths  losers, back to where they almost belong at the bottom of the table. Be nice if they slipped they little bit further to off it totally and get Central Coast, Perth, Wellington etc... in there.
