Good point for Manure in the end.

The Rio-Vidic injuries may be key for the season. Even though Wes Brown made some saving tackles in the last minute, I'd of thought if Vidic-Ferdinand had been there it wouldn't of even got that far.

Come on United, you can't **** this lead up. The thought of Chelsea winning the league again (or, God forbid Arsenal) makes me vomit in terror.

Defence was sleepy tbh. The whole team went to sleep when we went 1-0 up, allowed them to walk in the equaliser (though great finish by Alves). Van Der Saar was having a shakey dave day, was left rooted to the spot for the 2nd, when really it was a savable shot. Went on his arse in the snow going after a routine back pass, managed to flick a leg at it to keep it away from Alves, who would've had a walk in hat trick.

Didnt offer much going forward, think the weather really impeded our play, surface too skiddy for the passing game, ended up having to lump it into the box. Giggs was shocking as usual mind. We looked one dimensional attacking, everything came down the left, only when Park came on did we stretch them at the back (and scored).

Rooney's booking was laughable, first 'foul' he'd done. Skidded on the wet pitch, couldnt stop at all, didnt exactly clatter Schwartzer down, helped the keeper up, had a laugh about it, and got booked. Even Schwartzer looked bemused. Absolutely rubbish booking, but y'know, Rooney never gets any leeway with refs, always booked for the first foul he does.

He was pretty bad actually, must've thought we were playing 5 a side, no passes over shoulder height and fly keeper. Everytime the ball was up in the air, he gave a free kick against whoever jumped to get it. Then of course there was the stonewall penalty at the end of the first half that he missed. Even John Terry would've admitted it was handball.

On the point of crap refs, The Arse had a such a clear penalty when Kuyt took out Adebayor (I think), when they played them in the CL.

Pique any chance to partner Brown. Going to be tough without Rio and Vidic. But atleast we have Neville back from injury.

You can still get 11/4 on the Chavs for the title. Super value IMHO. Easier run in (by far) and ManUre rapidly running out of centre-halves.

Still think ManUre will just nick it, but am sorely tempted to stick a few cheeky quid on Chelsea.

Granted I haven't seen West Ham play a lot this season, but is George McCartney a) Good enough to play in Italy and b) good enough for AC Milan as some crazy story in the Daily Mirror would have us believe. And thirdly, do they have an shred of credibility or are just as bad as the The Sun or The Star?

Chelsea maginal favourites in my book. As cpr said, the Brown-Pique prospect is scary.

Massive amounts of injuries in defence is exactly what ****ed us up in Europe last year, ad damn near screwed us up in the league too. Looks to me like lightning might strike twice.
