14 of Anderson's comback over looks like he is back to form in this test - what the England selectors see in him is a mystery to me.

All the while Mathhew Hoggard sits in the sheds.

If I remember correctly Anderson played very well in the last match but agreed Hoggard would have been a better option.

I think England should be taking a closer look at Shreck, he regularly picks up wickets for Wellington. Plus he's played here for a few seasons so he'd know a lot of these venues well. But all too late..

Fleming has to be my favourite batsman in the world to watch. Even in defence, he looks fantastic. A throwback to the likes of Greg Chappell and Gower when timing was more important than power.

Im not writing England off yet, it's only day two. And we've seen plenty of batting collapses in this series so far.

1 Good spell TBH in pretty good bowling conditions.

IMHO The guy is never going to get good test batsman out on a regular basis with his action. It also gives him little control over line & lengh so he gets carted as a test match economy of 3.75 shows. I am no boeling expert but me (and many others on this site) can see this so why can't the England selectors?

No I've already travelled up, just been watching it on sky while g/f has whizzed through some marking. Was there yesterday, glad I caught Southee's first spell.
