Sagger's Mob vs Oz XI should be interesting given the PFL's...I'll back Sagger's Mob narrowly (even though I have no idea what I'm talking about)

Coco's Nuts have organised a team BBQ at the coach's house to watch the big match in his table between Guttedball and BEST Indies with all players and their partners expected to be in full attendance. Dress Code is Fancy Dress...come dressed as a player from one of the other teams in the table. The only possible absence could be Colin Beresford, who was made to run home behind the team bus in a Borat mankini (sans underpants) last week after failing as expected with the bat against Oz Fan's XI. The game was a home game, and Colin lives just around the corner from the ground. As such, those high up in the team hierarchy had a vote and decided to drive to Mackay to drop him off so the run home had at least a little bit of meaning attached to it. We saw him on Channel 9 news on Wednesday and he'd made it as far south as Gladstone. Unfortunately his mobile phone seems to have gone flat, as all correspondence from teammates re: this weekends barbie has gone unanswered.

During the game, we'll be analysing the BEST Indies performance for any weaknesses that can be exploited in next week's big clash. We'll also be playing 'Pin The Tail On The Player That Looks Most Like A Donkey (John Ashton)' and the traditional innings change will probably lead into a spot of nude twister. The girls won't be forgotten in all of this, we'll take them through what usually happens in the forbidden edifice that is the cricket changeroom by sitting around naked with a couple of beers having meaningful conversations about the days play with our fellow males...the girls will be allowed to watch only, and take notes if required.

I've thrown every T20 match and paid 2 mil for a keeper, I better win :@

Haha, watch me lose. From memory he had the slightly better team.

End of Over 8: 26-0, runrate=3.25
Kidd 4-0-12-0
Mohan* 18 (27 balls)
Olowe 8 (21 balls)

Not much penetration from our bowlers and they look set to make a fairly large score. Things not looking good for our chances. Wish we won the toss tbh.

End of Over 27: 128-1, runrate=4.74
Suttonwood 7-0-39-0
Grahame* 36 (48 balls)
Mohan 75 (90 balls)
Last Wicket: Olowe lbw b. Kidd 11 (FOW: 30/1)

End of Over 47: 258-2, runrate=5.49
Kidd 9-0-48-1
Grahame* 100 (101 balls)
Remaketse 45 (52 balls)
Last Wicket: Mohan c. Falk b. Suttonwood 90 (FOW: 164/2)

46.6 1 Kidd to Grahame
Good ball from Kidd aimed at middle and off. Grahame steps across the line and gets a single into the on side.
And that's a century for Grahame! Well played indeed Sir!

Grahame out the next ball and Remaketse quick to follow. Great innings from Grahame though and Mohan was equally brilliant earlier in the innings and unlucky to miss out on a century. Still not at all confident considering the PFL's of my bowlers.

Edit - Almost bowled out in the end.

End of Over 50: 272-8, runrate=5.44
Arthurton 10-0-44-4
Livesey* 4 (4 balls)
Gordon 2 (3 balls)

Last Wicket: Wills c. Wilson b. Arthurton 0 (FOW: 270/8)

Hey Hak any chance the groups for the main competition can be put up soon. With provisional spots for the sides that are quaiflying. I'm not sure what everyone else PFLs are like, but I wouldn't mind knowning the strength of group so I can sort out whether to rest players in the next two weeks, so they a fit for early cup matches.

272 is pretty good, thought it would be worse. Ryan out in the first over, if ever I needed Elmes to pull through, now is the time..

Darby was run out for 8 but Elmes and Garcia are going strong.

End of Over 22: 127-2, runrate=5.77, reqrunrate=5.21 (272-8)
Brooks 1-0-6-0
Garcia* 45 (52 balls)
Elmes 67 (63 balls)
Last Wicket: Darby Run Out 8 (FOW: 29/2)

Fingers crossed. After this there is Wilson debuting and Walsh and Falk, who can't really be relied upon to make the bulk of the runs so this partnership is crucial.

Won by seven wickets, Elmes making 131* (133) and Wilson making 50* (58) on debut for the club on top of Garcia's 66. Arthurton starred with the ball, talking 4/44.

Go BEST Indies!
