Should've made 290. Let Australia off the hook big time.

Sachin and Yuvi getting out to nothing shots has made it 60-40 Australia IMO.

I'm convinced those 10-12 overs have cost India not only the match, but the CB Series. Call me a pessimist, but I'm extremely disappointed. :(

Pretty dire innings really for mine. The decision not to pick Hogg was stupid, Ponting manged his bowlers like a f00l and then the Indian batsmen let go of a good position. Ball should do a bit at night though. Bracken with an over left. :@

259 to win for Australia, it won't be easy as the pitch is far from a batting paradise we expected it to be, but Aussies would be happy to pull back things as well as they did because India were well on track to score 300 or more at one point.

It all depends on the toss in Adelaide IMO.

Without Ishu we're screwed I reckon, unless Sreesanth raises his game against Australia again.

In other news Brendan Nelson has a 7% approval rating :)

Two things to say.

This session could be the session which costs India what would have been an amazing series victory. Can't believe how bad they batted in those last 10-12 overs.

Ponting bringing Lee on, despite him just getting Habhajan out, was such a horrible decision, and that's not even in hindsight. Hopes was bowling well, you don't take off a bowler who is bowling well.
Yeah I can't believe how badly they batted in last 10 overs..... Sachin fell at the wrong time. India will have to ball really well to win this one from here. Spinners are the key and lets see which Sreesanth turns up today.

bahhhh humbug.... what was up with Lee and Midge...pretty dire stuff... was actually concerned a bit about their form leading up to the finals....

Punter shoulda gave Hopes the two overs not Lee... the yorkers he was bowling were terrific and he looked like he was in a really good rhythm with those yorkers
i think that cost about 15 runs atleast....
but yea.. if it weren't for the fielding and good death bowling.. (and i guess some poor batting at the end) India would've got 290+

anywho im not feeling confident about this chase (well with the way we're batting)
but, the pitch is great....fast outfield...and their best bowler isn't playing....
what they do have in their favour is two spinners and i think it'll turn and bounce a bit and the RR will have to hover around 5 and it will be hard against those two

anyways just a reminder
End of over 39 (4 runs) - India 204/3 (RR: 5.23)

Australia will walk these unless Sreesanth bowls out of his skin. Put your house on it.

FFS.

So you'd rather him just shoulder charge him and KO him to the ground? Just because the other bloke is a Demi-God to a heap of people doesn't mean Clarke can't go for the ball. Should he have leapt over him or something?
Speaking of blokes claiming catches that bounce, here's Dhoni.
No not because Sachin is a demi-god but it was kind of lucky that it was Sachin he pulled down because he didn't make a big deal out of it. I imagine Yuvraj, Harbhjan or someone else wouldn't simply smiled. Clarke couldn't get to the ball so he pulled Sachin down. No big deal don't expect any better for aussie players anyway.

That Clarke shout was close... seen those given many times.
Good start by India.

Walk in the park indeed. Some outrageously dire comments on here. Sreesanth bowling extremely well. Am angry at the Australian team atm. We deserve to lose this. Dire selection, tactics and attitude.

EDIT: Commentary is pathetic aswell. Considering throwing a brick at the TV. Worst calls on the Clarke LBW and pretty much everything else. Bring on the footy season, but not before I load my shotty.
