Looking forward to India wrapping this up tomorrow. Australia no doubt will play really hard, but I think we've rattled Australia and we'll pull through tomorrow.

Disagree, India might win the series, but I'm fairly certain it'll go to a third game. Feel free to bring this up tomorrow night if it doesn't happen though :p (Annoyingly I have a lecture/tute from 6-9 tomorrow so will miss a lot of the second innings :ranting:)

Is it possible to believe though that in pushing it to the limits to deliver at 150+ not much has to go wrong to mess things up? If he drags it down by an equal amount in the other direction nobody seems to complain.
I don't think it would be possible to pull one up as short as his beamer would have been long unless he literally pitched it at his own toes.

I personally think people are playing the man rather than the ball: Lee seems a nice bloke so therefore he wouldn't possibly countenance it. Against that tho he sends rather more down than other bowlers, a lot of whom (usually the English ones like Plunkett, Mahmood & Harmison) struggle with their radar a lot more than Lee does.

I'm just saying is all....

I take back what I said about them not complaining in that case then...they'd piss themselves laughing

Those other guys do struggle more for direction than Lee, but then they all have different actions. Without knowing whether Lee's trying for something in particular when it happens, or whether it's something out of his control, it's hard to pinpoint whether it'd be deliberate or not. It could well be I suppose. Personally I doubt it though.

Difference is Lee's generally low positiong when bowling with that long stride, so he's generally going to err on the side of fullness, whereas other guys with ordinary radars aren't as low at the bowling crease.

Am nervous about tomorrow tbh. Don't think I'll check the match until I somehow get a vibe that we're dominating. The sun will be shining brighter, or I'll find a money clip or something.

Australia haven't beaten India in a ODI for a while. Last one was washed out obviously and the one before that Laxman guided India to a 300+ score and victory in the end.
