Perhaps thats what Hayden was trying to fix by his comments on the radio, certainly will get a bit more interest in Queensland, a Queenslander getting in trouble for sledging an Indian on a Queensland radio station.
You must be smoking some reaall good dust there, if you think that was Hayden's primary motives.

He was mate. He was doing the interview (on a Qld radio station) because they're trying to bump up ticket sales. Maybe, as you allude to, he got a bit carried away and thought some robust language would further boost sales!

My bad, I stand corrected, sorry DL. Still poor form from Hayden for having a dig at both Sharma and Harbhajan - that's certainly not the right way to promote cricket sales.

No worries mate.

I agree that maybe its the wrong way to promote the game, though the niggle between the two teams is at breaking point, I think both sides have been in the wrong on different occassions this summer. If they were in a contact sport I think blood would have been spilt by now, lucky there not.

The Aussies have had a reputation for years as being bad sledgers and it seems that teams are coming here now with thoughts of standing up to them in mind and maybe at times they go a bit over the top which does lead to tensions rising. Thats not saying that the Aussies haven't done anything wrong, there no angels, we know that. There are two sides out there and they both need to pull there heads in.

Bracken bowling like a gun. Beautiful seam position. Reckon Hogg should go well on this deck.

Get home to see a gun over from Lee then Jayasuriya going off, very nice one-day cricket so far. Pity I couldn't go.

SL should hv rested Jayasuriya & Murali, IMO

would hv liked to see how the newer guys take up the responsibility .... and the experience of playing the OZ team in OZ w/o these two would hv been good for the team

Isn't it Jaya's last game? Would be a bit harsh if so.
