Hayden calls Harbhajan an obnoxious weed

duffer

Cricket Web: All-Time Legend
Did Hayden actually ask, jokingly or not, for Ishant to join him in a boxing ring?
Yes he did. I really hate this ****ing boofhead. Seriously do these guys realise that they're in the real world now and that pub brawl mentality is no longer applicable just because someone pisses you off?

Hayden is the biggest **** in cricket by far.

Read hayden's full comments.he clearly makes suggestions about harbhajan's personal character and proffesional too by calling him attention seeking and dirty.
Do not try to impose your opinion based on your rabid nationalism.
And btw, are you trying to differntiate between a weed,a monkey,a potato or a girrafe?
Yes...my rabid nationalism, dont be so stupid, you will note that I am from Hampshire...

If you had paid attention from the start, you would note that I have no sympathy for Hayden whatsoever, I am merely commenting on the absurdity of the suggestion of this case going to court.

I'm not trying to differentiate between anything, i'm stating that calling Symonds or anyone else a monkey, is catergorically unpleasant, and to suggest that its ok to do so is obscene.

I know he would not.
But all i am trying to say is he should to teach that idiot hayden a lesson to keep his mouth shut next time.
Cannot wait till the aussies come to india next time.Hopefully they will be forced to live in the rooms in the grounds itself with cats sniffing their food.
can I ask how old you are? seriously.

So you are an englishmen?
Still my statement remains as i said in my previous comments that aussies and english based on their culture want to force what is abusive and what is racist on the rest too.

Yes I am indeed English, but what you are staying is naive and stereotypical. There is no forcing of anything going on here, to call someone a monkey is clearly a racist remark, I dont care where you go, if you go anywhere in the world and call someone of afro-caribbean descent a monkey, it will be considered a racist remark.

If you take time to think about it, Harbajan himself has not behaved in an exemplary way, and he himself was found guilty of making said remarks about Symonds. Clearly what Hayden has said here is stupid and he has been punished accordingly, and that is where it ends, there is no great injustice anywhere along the line.

So you have to resort to the oldest trick on internet forums now.
When someone does not agree with your narrow view based on your understanding of the topic andyou have nothing more to add then ask him how old are you?
I am btw 28 and you mr IQ 420.

The irony isnt lost here....

The only reason I asked, was because I assumed that someone with such bias and little rationality must be in their early teens, the fact that you are (or at least claim to be) somewhat older has come as somewhat of a surprise...

My understanding of this topic is anything but narrowminded, I can see both sides of this argument, and neither of the people involved could be defined as being "likeable" or "decent" characters. I would further suggest that as you seem to maintain that Harbajan is completely devoid of any ill doing, that it is you who is narrowminded, not me.

So is calling someone of south asian decent a "bastard".
I agree harbhajan has not behaved exemplarily but he was punished for what he did as was ishant but symonds got away twice(justice hansen also agreed).
The point i was making was that this comment before the final was all part of the aussie media and mind game machinery to rile india.
So if India wants to answer back in the same coin they should take hayden to court. But they hasve thought better of it.

No, that is quite obviously completely different.

I doubt court has even been considered, as no matter how many times I have told you, you seem incapable of grasping the fact that there is no case here.

I'm a very big Hayden fan, one of my favourite players in the Australian team, for cricketing reasons. Don't really get the hate, don't expect anyone to like him but it seems a bit over the top and disproportionate. That said, CA did the right thing by charging him, let's just hope they did it because it was the right thing to do and not because they were scared of what would happen if they didn't. Good post from Burgey as well earlier on.

well if thats so then I retract my remark, but whether that is the case or not does not take away from the fact that calling Symonds a monkey is clearly a racial aggrivated comment, irrespective of any other potentially racist remarks made worldwide.

If the guy asked for Ishant Sharma to join him in a boxing ring, the hate should be pretty easy to understand tbh.

Depends on the context and seriousness of it. Still yet to see a direct quote on that, or a proper transcript of the interview at all.

Never liked him at all myself, completely independent from the fact that I've never thought a hell of a lot of him as a batsman. Just comes across as unpleasant in so many ways on so many occasions.

Completely the opposite of Gilchrist who I've long loved to bits and rated very highly as a batsman but often felt like throwing stones at whenever he has bat in hands simply because of the damage he's done to other the chances of the team (more England and South Africa than anyone else of course) that I'm supporting.
