Email me in 300 words or more. Only then will I bother reading and discussing it further with you.

Also, you are homophobic. This is not to insult you. It is a matter of fact given the line in which you attempt to deride me.

Also, email me in 10000 words or more how you ascertain:

a) Asking for an email is equal to jumping on the seat.

b) It can make you come to the conclusion that a given person has a ***ual preference towards males.

c) Affiliation to pineapples = being gay.

i emailed it :p .... with a thesis on why ppl who poke their noses around unnecessarily without provocation deserve to be derided, along with the memo on dumb hypocrisy that states how someone relates to avatar to make his point but then asks for thesis when someone does in terms of using metaphors

Harbhajan an 'obnoxious weed' - Hayden

Cricinfo staff
February 26, 2008

Matthew Hayden has stirred already troubled waters by calling Harbhajan Singh an "obnoxious weed", a comment that will only serve to further deepen the animosity between the two sides which has surfaced during India's current tour.

Speaking on a Brisbane radio station, Hayden said: "Its been a bit of a long battle with Harbhajan, the first time I ever met him he was the same little obnoxious weed that he is now. His record speaks for itself in cricket.

There is a certain line that you can kind of go to and then you know where you push it and he just pushes it all the time. That's why he has been charged more than anyone that's ever played in the history of cricket."

The pair clashed during Sunday's CB Series game at the SCG when the Indians complained that Hayden had called Harbhajan a "mad boy".

Hayden played down the incident, accusing the Indians of complaining because "they are losing every game they are playing," adding: "I called him a bad boy." .............

Oh some idiots never learn.
He should be sued by the BCCI and bhajji.

Unnecessary comments by Haydo .... Ist step by BCCI should be to kick all these thrash-talkers out of the IPL .... which would take that extra money that they hope to earn away and hopefully teach them a lesson on how to think before they speak

8-) Neither of those terms sound particularly offensive to me, can't see how they could be construed as such either. Still a silly thing to do given the situation.

8-) It was just an attempt at ending what was just a few fun posts according to me in a friendly manner.

Why are you resorting to insults?

First the homophobic comment, next a comment on how my avatar means I have my legs crossed or some thing (which you edited out quickly) and now calling me a spammer and a troll.

I shouldn't have bothered. People who take every thing so seriously and make a big deal of small things, resorting to insults are yawn worthy.

Bye.

Australians stepping up the gamesmanship ahead of the finals series. The process had begun during the previous game the two teams played. Not a fan of such comments in the media like the one made by Hayden here though.

Yes, SL is making the same old mistakes. If they are to be summarized,

#1. Using non-specialist openers / batsmen with poor techniques. Dilshan, Perera and Tharanga are not openers at all. The former two are very good in middle overs and running quick singles. They did not take any specialist opener with them. Mahela Udawatta was making runs, and so was Malinda Warnapura. Latter would have been a perfect choice because of his classic style of play (i.e Atapttu like) and with his versatile right arm medium pace and off spin. During the tour no official had balls to ask Sanga to open the batting. He was the only one who could do so.

#2. Forgetting Maharoof is an integral part of the ODI team. Dropping Maharoof for Kapugedara to strenghthen batting was a poor move. The one to drop was either Vaas or Amerasinghe. He usually bowls good spells and sometimes hits those runs in a real hurry.

#3. Keeping same old players too long - Jayasuriya. But he may prove me wrong and hammer one or two centuries in next few games.

#4. Not utilising all the bowling options. Dilruwan Perera was introduced so late, when Murali was going for runs he could've been introduced. Afterall he's the second best ODI spinner we have. Jayasuriya was not utilized at all. We all know how crafty is a old bugger with the ball.

#5. poor form and shot selection by the batsman. Need not to elaborate, it was so evident.

#6. Wrong selection. At the moment SL came with 6 batsmen to Aus they were doomed. Three out of those six were clueless and out of form.

I don't follow SLan cric that much so don't know how good the upcoming players are but in the last league game, it should play some of the new guys or at least give them an opportunity at the top of the order .... may be open with Tharanga and Kapugedera w/ Chamara at 3

may be rest Jayasuriya and Murali for the game .... in the context of the series and with a bigger pic in mind, Jayasuriya opening and getting a 100 woudn't help much other that the fact that it will be another 100 for him .... the experience that some of the new guys will get playing against the OZ and taking them on w/o Jayasuriya and Murali, could be very useful

cheers

I'm pretty sure he was injured - he was struggling in the game against Australia. Side strain or something, I think.

There was no news of him failing the fitness test. But keping fingers crossed to see whether he'll be selected for the next game. I like SL go with bit of innovation.

Jayasuriya, Sangakkara, Jayawardane, Tharanga, Dilshan, Kapugedara, Perera, Maharoof, Malinga, Muralitharan, Welagedara

Note that no more gimmiks of making middle order batsmeen opener, use the best two players suited for that. Vaas needs a break, done very well in the tournament, and Welagedara should get a game, otherwise he'll be a passenger. Silva dropped and Tharanga in the middle order.
