comfortable win by 9 wickets in the cup today. set a target of 201, we reached it in the 36th on the back of jason duggan's (109*) 43rd career century and a solid half century from ken lennon (80). duggan is only 339 runs away from scoring his 10,000th run in one day cricket. he should be adding to his 4 one day internationals in a couple of weeks. i'd love for him to score a 100 at this level.
next week i've drawn a team i knocked out of the cup a couple of seasons ago. shouldn't have any issues doing this once again. my only downfall, aside from getting sodomised by battrick, could be the inevitable exit of dom graham, whom should, according to my records, pop tomorrow morning to sensational bowling. if he can do this for me, then i shall sell the underachiever. given the general fagginess of the bt transfer market and my longing to replace him with a new zealander, i doubt he'll be replaced in time.
also won my league match on saturday ftr. although we remain 8 points off the lead, the sides that i needed to lose games have done so already, meaning we're right in the race for the title after our disgraceful start to the league campaign.
oh, and robert and mike. pretty dam impressive pops you've got there. mike, brad noon could become a rear cw u19 who actually goes onto play for his country imo.
