Just for the record, direct insults aren't allowed at CricketWeb at all (saying "it's just banter" doesn't count for anything as otherwise everyone would do it and use that excuse), so it's probably best to avoid 'em.
As for lightening up, I think out of everyone here you're coming across (maybe unintentionally) as the most stressed out, so take it easy and just remember that it's not what you say - it's the way that other people will read it.

Helped by bad weather on the final day, Cricket Web Colts recovered from a 300-run first innings deficit to draw against the Masters XI in a strong position. Chris Butler (83 not out) and Will Kerr (29 not out) were at the crease when the game was called off. The Colts only batted for 56 overs on day five and finished on 245-4.
In the first innings an unusually poor performance the Colts batsmen led to a modest total of 273 after choosing to bat first. Shan Jasotharan again flattered to deceive, racing to 67 and then falling to Shane Warne. In the end it was up to Nick Hancock, composed with 67, to rescue the innings from the desperation of 189-8. The batting credentials of Kyle Wright were again reinforced in a partnership of 83 for the last wicket. The Colts captain scored 26 and was unbeaten after a 41-ball stay.
The Masters responded in glittering fashion, offering little opportunities to the Colts in finishing day two on 319-1. Lara had another first-class ton ready for the taking, but slashed Wilson to Thomas at third man, out for 94. He left Geraint Jones at the crease, set on 167, and the former England wicketkeeper offered an easy chance off Weber when he had 178. He was dropped twice more before lunch, and hit Nick Hancock for two sixes in the afternoon session to bring up 200. The Masters XI batted into the final session until they declared on 573-4, with Damien Martyn not out on 109 and the lead having reached 300.
The Colts began batting with an hour remaining on day four. In the second over James Griffen was dropped by Benkenstein, and the visitors went to stumps unbeaten with 43 runs on the board. Through their seamers the Masters made inroads on day five, but rain curtailed the session and brought an early lunch at 113-2. Within 40 minutes of resumption the Colts lost two more wickets and Kerr joined Butler with the Colts still trailing by 142 runs and 60 overs due to be bowled. Ed Smith dropped Kerr when he had just 4, putting a chance down at short leg, but both batsmen played solidly from that point on. The rains returned and washed out almost two hours, leaving the Colts with 9 overs to survive to the close. Jones dropped Kerr again, but the job was all but done.

A revitalized Thamba Mamesh and a lot of rain resigned Cricket Web Black to another draw, after the table-toppers were the better of their tie against Cricket Web Blue at Pickford. Mamesh scored 146 and only 41 overs could be bowled on day five, as the Blues finished on 311-5, after trailing by 183 runs on first innings.
CW Blue elected to bat first, but should have done much better than 362 all out, after they had reached 231-3 at tea. Mamesh dominated the first session with 8 fours in his innings of 71, but the batting of Stephen Young surged to the fore in the second session. Young progressed to another first-class hundred, finally hooking a Borcich bouncer to deep square leg. Following his demise Liam Camps (4) and Luke Tyson (13) were out in quick succession, leaving the score on 317-6 at the close. The second morning belonged to the CW Black spinners and Sean Fuller. Pickup and Richards shared the last four wickets and CW Blue relied heavily on Fuller's 90 not out to reach their eventual score.
The Blacks set out to impose themselves with the backing of an excited home crowd. James Stedman maintained his perfect record against the Blues by scoring passing 50 again. He was dropped twice off Adam Collins when he had 7 and played flunetly otherwise to score 54. The openers piled on 125 for the first wicket, and the middle order carried on the charge after Stedman hit a return catch to Sriram. Only Gerard Armstrong (1) and Neil Pickup (3) failed to get to double figures, and there were six half-centurions in the innings of 545. Both of Dan Smith (90) and Andrew Cloete (94) challenged the century mark, but neither pushed on to a big score.
The innings came to an end an hour before day four tea, so CW Blue faced more than four sessions to save the game. Again Mamesh eased to 50, and he was joined by Pete Young, as the Blues ended the day strongly placed on 170-0. Bad light delayed the final morning by 16 minutes, and only 7 overs could be bowled before lunch. In the short session the Blacks snared the wicket of Pete Young, caught at point for 74, and Zac Gelman took the wickets of Stephen Young (1) and Dinu DeSilva (0) with consecutive balls to start the second session. Mamesh flicked Borcich fine and turned for three runs, raising his bat to acknowledge the crowd and his century. Two more brief interruptions frustrated the home team further, then a 56-minute delay brought an early tea.
A further 25 overs were lost to rain and poor light, and though CW Blue lost two more wickets in the last session, they had little difficulty in reaching the close.

Cricket Web Red ground out a crucial win against Cricket Web Green, battling hard on a difficult pitch to win by 3 wickets late on day four. The Red bowlers pulled together on the opening day and shot CW Green out for 155, after the home team had won the toss and elected to bat first.
The Green openers were the casualties of a testing new ball spell from Dave Watt and David Kennett, then Nick Scott was partnered by Martyn Corrin in a partnership of 82 runs for the third wicket. Scott went on to top score with 58 before he was trapped in front of the stumps by Sean Bennett. Bennett continued his bowling resurgence by taking 3-12 and leading a disciplined attack.
The CW Red batsmen then attempted to build on their good work with the ball, scoring 27-0 at day one stumps. On day two Sharma lived a charmed life, dropped twice before edging to slip for 48. Captain Mork stayed firm with 41 from 167 balls, while Rob Dauth looked in excellent touch through his 32. But from the powerful platform of 125-1, CW Red collapsed to 191-8 when tea was called on day two. Mat Mitchell (3-48) and Andy Cameron (3-40) shared 6 wickets to instigate the collapse, though they were denied briefly by a 39-run stand for the final wicket. In the partnership, Watt played some excellent shots and scored 29 off 27 balls.
His efforts pushed the lead to 75 for CW Red, and they cast the Greens into despair with two quick wickets in the second innings. CW Green were floundering on 2-2 as Corrin took guard. He and Malone jr. put on 114 for the third wicket, offering some hope for the large home crowd. Both were out in quick succession, then Darren Dubb-Lynch followed for 9. From 154-5, CW Green needed half-centuries from Andrew Garven (56) and Bryce Cunningham (71) to pass 300, and finished on 304.
The Reds set out to chase a modest 230, batting on a worn surface with inconsistent bounce. They knocked 30 runs off the target without loss by day four end, and Mork and Sharma resumed carefully on day five. Sharma was dropped by Cunningham when he had 11, and his even 50 was the crucial effort of the fifth morning. Both of Mork (10) and Dauth (27) failed to get going, then Sharma clipped Mitchell to square leg just before lunch. Mitchell and Cunningham each struck in the second session, leaving CW Red struggling on 122-5. Chris Dwyer sensed the occasion and responded with bold strokeplay and a 44-ball 47. He finally chipped a catch back to Corrin and Cunningham followed up by trapping Gray lbw for 40.
Just 23 runs were between the teams and CW Green faced the tail-end of the CW Red innings. Clapham played exceptionally in defence, allowing Bennett to play himself in with some confident shots. He flicked Cunningham over the square leg rope for six, exciting the Red corner of the crowd. The next over he flashed outside offstumps and gave a sharp chance to Lezama, who could not hold on. Bad light kept the players off the field for 36 minutes, but CW Red returned to the middle needing 4 runs. Mitchell served up a half-volley and Bennett thumped it straight back past him for the winning boundary.

Lost it in the on the first day there, did well to come back and stay in the game to the end though which was good to see. Scott and Corrin steadied the ship after the openers went and then everyone fell over after they got out. Was stoked to see Cameron and Mitchell take 3 wickets each in Reds first innings. Keeping them down to 230 after they got a good start was fantastic. Malone and Cunningham's 70 odd scores game them something to chase down and unfortunately they did. Mitchell was again the pick with 3/33 from just less then 15 overs, great stuff. Halsey bowled well through the match too conceeding less then 2 per over.
