AW both of the A, very much so.Two random points -
1) Dave Hussey is an all-rounder. His bowling is almost good enough to merit a position in an OD side. His changes of pace are superb.
2) Foxtel commentators are so much more cluey than the Nine ones. Have such a better idea of what's going on in the game. Get Nicholas and others out of there, and give us the guys who still have a burning passion for the game and really enjoy it and make it fun for us.
Well he always said he doesn't watch much cricket.Except Mark Waugh. Gets about ten things wrong per sentence.
Here's a typical Mark Waugh sentence:
"That's a great catch by Brad Hodge at cover, Cosgrove out for 24."
This all of course, after it falls 2 metres short of Cameron White at mid-wicket, while it was Daniel Christian on strike who's on 15.
This isn't a true event, but it's pretty much how Waugh's commentary goes.
George Bailey & Cosgrove (if he loses weight) in with a chance at 5 & 6 as well. Can't see Dave Huss getting a prolonged run in Test cricket at least, Hayden's the only batsman I can see retiring before DHuss turns 33/34 and I think his spot will go to either Rogers, or maybe even Shaun Marsh. Voges and Pomersbach will be the next 5 and 6 for Australia (with Clarke 3 and Watson 4).
It's not even his biggest problem any more. He hasn't hit a Pura Cup ton this year yet and is averaging about 30. Info suggests the problems rest between his ears.Cosgrove'll never slim up.
Lets be honest; playing professional cricket at that size has a fair bit to do with what's between the ears as well. It's not even his biggest problem any more. He hasn't hit a Pura Cup ton this year yet and is averaging about 30. Info suggests the problems rest between his ears.
That said, some of them have been performing quite admirably...Fair enough. A lot of earmarked future test players are struggling this year.
