Agreed with Wright re: Bogut.

That loss by the Cavs to Atlanta yesterday would've been horrid to watch. At halftime I think both teams were only shooting 30%... James brought them back within 5 points at one stage, but the rest of the team couldn't shoot for ****. I'm starting to get the feeling Hughes will probably never be the perfect foil for James, he seems far to inconsistent, and goes missing a lot. Would I be correct with that assumption?

Check this story out. The Hawks and Heat will replay 51.9 seconds of one of their games because Atlanta said O'Neal had 6 fouls when he had 5. Hilarious stuff.

yeah..that's funny...don't know that it will make a lot of difference to either team though, the heat especially have just been downright pathetic...

none of his support cast including hughes are consistent, which is why it was the biggest fluke in the world when they made the nba finals last time, must have been one of the worst teams to reach that stage...unless they make some serious moves before the trade deadline and strengthen, i cannot see them make another deep playoff run...the celtics, the pistons and even the magic are all seriously better right now...

Basically I AWTA, the only way they'll make a decent playoff run is if James erupts. Time to trade Hughes imo.

EDIT:

Career high 29 points for Bogut today :D Another double-double as well.

2 Immense performances from Kobe & LeBron in the past 2 days. 48 Points for Kobe in their OT win over the Sonics, and then LeBron follows it up with 51 against the Grizzlies in an OT win. Shame LeBron is having a shocker from the foul line though :(

Read the other day that Bogut has been averaging 18 points & 9 boards in January, great stuff from the big man.

anyone following the exceptional first-half of the regular season the hornets and the lakers have put together? hope all the recent injuries to the lakers don't slow them down like it did last year...

Right arm fast

State Vice-Captain
Dunk contest and all stars named recently
who are you guys picking for the dunk contest?
id like to see gerald green repeat because he gets no actual playing time although howard will be tough and jamario moon was a globetrotter, should be a pretty good watch

the lakers acquire pao gasol from the grizzlies! they give away kwame brown and some draft picks, but this is an excellent move for them...if bryant, gasol, bynum, odom and fisher can all stay healthy most of the time and their support crew of vujacic, walton, turiaf, ariza, farmar, radmanovic etc can keep contributing as they have been doing, i feel they could challenge the best in the west...

You do realize that it doesn't matter how many deals the lakers man, how many games boston wins, or how fast the suns run...it just means that its going to take san antonio just a few extra games to win the champsionship thats all.

That bieng said, gooooo rockets. I've been a fan since I was a kid. Oh and I gotta show some love for the poor knicks too.

not really, they are one of the elite teams and the defending champs but they have never won back-to-back rings before, not that they can't of course but it's not like they have such a stranglehold on the nba that no one else can dream of beating them...
