Loving watching Sharma bet. Aesthetically pleasing, and its good that he's attacking and putting the balls away.

Have liked him from the first moment I saw him, but didn't know if he was any good or not lol. Showed something in the 20/20 vs. South Africa, and the 5th ODI vs. Pakistan last year.

He's a quality batsman as well. By the way, Gambhir is **** in general in this format but he's playing rather well at the moment.
Gambhir is crap in Tests too. But yea, Raina looks good in patches but I think he still needs maybe 3 years more in domestic cricket.

Mitch is such a gun ODI bowler. Has deserved more than 1 wicket imo (damn you Hussey & Ponting)

The thing about Gambhir is, I managed to make him the number one ODI batsman in the world in International Cricket Captain.

That should mean he's a gun in reality. :(

Haha, but then you also had Ashley Giles as a better allrounder than Flintoff sooo.... :p

Sharma's shot was disappointing, but Tiwari... jeez how predictable was that yorker? Can't belive he didn't see it coming after that huge spray of bouncers he got. Looked out of his depth. Only in the country 24 hours though, bit of a baptism of fire.

Thought Noffke looked very nervous in his first two overs. Everything after that has been quite good though.

Other than those two overs, Australia haven't put a foot wrong with their bowling. Fielding has been dire though with at least two catches put down and two falling 30cm short.

Rain is disappointing, especially as it isn't raining here, 25km north of the Gabba.

Edit: Around 20 seconds after I hit post the first rain started falling. I had to run out to rescue my washing from the line...

International Coach
Great effort from the boys so far, i was slightly disappointed with the way Noffers bowled today, but it was good to see him pulling back things in his second spell, he has worked really hard for this opportunity so i hope he doesn't blow it away.
Btw what's up with the Aussies dropping so many catches.
