As my previous turn was usurped I'll throw one in here. This is one of the most wrongly answered pub quiz questions.

What is the second largest number of runs set and subsequently achieved for victory in the fourth innings of a Test?

I thought that question sounded too easy for you:@

But now I am not sure I understand it:wacko:
The question is What is the second largest number of runs set and subsequently achieved for victory in the fourth innings of a Test?

There's no need to mention years, teams or anything else, the correct answer is simply the runs total.

Okay, just to keep up the run chase theme, what is the lowest run chase set in which the chasing team lost the match?
In test matches it is 85, set by Australia in the 1st Ashes test at the oval in 1882. England were bowled out for 77 Spofforth taking 7 for 44 bowling 28 overs unchanged through the innings.

In ODI's, in December 1992, Australia were bowled out by West Indies for 101 at Sydney in the Benson and Hedges encounter. West Indies were bowled out for 87 (including 13 extras)
