A Tribute To Adam Gilchrist

Yeah, amazingly agree with Fuller (^^^). Like he's basically using the opportunity of Gilchrist's retirement to have the 43,461st crack at Buchanan. And ITE he's basically completely ignoring Gilchrist.

Hahaha. It's a pretty dismal sort of article anyway. He says nothing of substance about Gilchrist.
Well, performance as a cricketer aside, Warne's a pretty dismal sort of human being, with nothing of substance about him, so that follows...

Wow, is it possible for Warne to be more of an ass? Can't resist taking digs at people even in a tribute article.

I think I might be warming up to him after all this time.
lol That's unbelievable. I had to check it came from a reputable source and you didn't write it as some kind of joke. Totally bizaare, the guy is the biggest tool to ever grace a cricket field. Not to mention that was the lamest 'tribute' ever.

Geez, Warnie a bit bitter? It's funny to hear him say he's comfortable with what he achieved in the game on one hand and then lambast Buchanan for the same old crap. Broken record, Warnie. Time to change it.

As for Buchanan, he seems to be quite psychologically in the pink so I reckon he'd laugh this off.

Did you see the bit where they had Buchanan on the Cricket Show coaching junior coaches? Andrew Voss asked him what he would suggest to help him deal with a talented but troubled young leg spinner in his under 12 team, as he couldn't get the kid to stop texting on the phone. Buchanan, deadpan, said, "I'm probably not the best person to ask".

Awww, come off it mate. I'm all for honest criticism and if you don't agree with the way Buchanan coached, then good luck to you. But Warnie's bickering at him is bordering on pathological.

Haha, still bitter about the boot camp for mine. You sort of expected him to continue on this huge rant "And how about my dry cleaners hey? Ruin every bloody shirt and don't get me started on my cleaning lady..."

Just joking.

It is becoming a bit tired with Warney - nothing sadder than a sniping person.

Buch is still a freak though. lol

...no hes not.....

he basically said he was a god for the first half of the article, then said he was a dedicated player, a good family man, stood up for his beliefs and thanked him at the end....

what are you reading??

Getting him to stop with his cleaning lady was probably more an issue.

Literally lol'd when I read Warnes article in the paper this morning. As Matt79 said, despite his brilliance on the cricket field, he's a poor human being really, no class whatsoever.
