I thought they did the right thing. They didn't celebrate the wicket and they all just clapped him off. I hope Kevin Pietersen was taking notes, as his celebration in dismissing Lara in his final innings was way over the top.I am happy the Indians gave him an ovation, but I really think they should have walked over and shook his hand as well. It would have been a nice show of respect for the most sporting guy in the Aussie team.
Harsh IMO ...Hate you Irfan....
Sharma shook his hands as did one of the others. He just walked off quickly ,so it was tough to reach him.I am happy the Indians gave him an ovation, but I really think they should have walked over and shook his hand as well. KP is a jerk!I thought they did the right thing. They didn't celebrate the wicket and they all just clapped him off. I hope Kevin Pietersen was taking notes, as his celebration in dismissing Lara in his final innings was way over the top.

If only if RP had not been injured.
Haha. It is permissible for you to dislike a player.

Hahaha, so very true. Looked terrible today."Oh he's very lucky, Symonds. Very lucky."
~ Mark Nicholas comments on a streaky shot by Andrew Symonds, but the comment would be more apt in describing his test career.
Its about time the bloke gives his barber a visit!Sharma seems a good sort with a fair head on his shoulders for a 19yo.
I hope India can build their team around him & RP for a few years to come.
It almost looked to me like Sehwag regretted being the one to take the catch :P
I noticed that after taking the catch Virender Sehwag just started applauding Gilchrist, and Ishant Sharma also ran in to shake his hand, which was a nice touch.I am happy the Indians gave him an ovation, but I really think they should have walked over and shook his hand as well. It would have been a nice show of respect for the most sporting guy in the Aussie team.
Why?FFS, I know India is bowling well, but we areeeeeeeeeee in need of quick runs....
Indians were very respectful - all anyone could ask for reallyI noticed that after taking the catch Virender Sehwag just started applauding Gilchrist, and Ishant Sharma also ran in to shake his hand, which was a nice touch.
Nah. India's selection policy is based on a long hair requirement. Once Dhoni trimmed his it was inevitable that Zaheer got injured and Sharma got picked. Its about time the bloke gives his barber a visit!
