***Official*** India in Australia

What are the Indians still carrying on for? It clearly hit is pad, move on, it was great umpiring and a shoddy appeal. This is just poor stuff from the Indians.
Haha, anybody else see the irony in this? For a man that supports the team Warne played for, I find this quite amusing.

Ponting really should go off the feild if he's in that much pain. With Symonds and Gilchrist to come, there's not really any need for him to be out there.

As I said before, he seems to have a real 'Us vs Them' attitude. I don't know why, I think he would enjoy the game more if he dropped the bitter attitude. The best and most respected posters here on CW can see things from different people's and different team's perspectives.

That's because they normally prepare ridiculous raging turners instead.
What is wrong with turners? I seriously want to know, because I have no idea why people call that a bad pitch. There is nothing wrong with a raging turner, and nothing wrong with a raging seamer's paradise.

Everyone has been moaning here......
TBF to cevno's argument, has anyone actually moaned about the Aussies preparing a flat pitch to maintain their lead or has it just been general moaning about the flat pitch on display? Genuine question there as I haven't followed the thread today.

Full credit to him for batting through some pain, but it is a little bit silly.

Well, Australia has bored everybody to a pretty good position in this match now. Bat the day out at a decent run rate(which I can't see not happening given the pathetic nature of the pitch) and they'll put India under serious pressure. And India under pressure in 2nd innings is a VERY poor team regardless of the conditions. Wouldn't surprise me at all if the batting collpases tomorrow.

Moaning about the latter obviously, you'd have to be pretty silly to think that Australia have especially prepared a flat pitch to win the series, given the Adelaide pitches of the past.

Don't recall these Australian commentators criticizing the Australian bowling when the Indian tail was cruising on Day 2. Never in my life had I seen Kumble and Harbhajan bat as comfortably as they did. The bowling was lifeless and there was no real effort to do something extra to pick wickets(especially the last one). But now that Australia's been cruising too all I hear is how poorly the Indians have bowled(admittedly they have been pretty average...but what attack wouldn't lose their spirit on this pitch?).

I'm merely ponting the hypocrisy out mate. I don't particularly find the behaviour as distasteful as some, but it's just ridiculous whenever you see the Indians act like that after getting on their high horse about the Spirit of the Game after Sydney.

As long as he's not going too slowly I don't see a problem of it. Ponting is hard, he can deal with it.

Could get a nice average booster if he retires hurt there though :p
