I think India won't be too unhappy with a draw here either, because after the series they can always say that if the umpiring won't have been so poor at Sydney, then they would have won the series.

so I kind of want to stick with it. But I agree with you, maybe India won't be too keen for a result, but I think they should try their best to see if they can win.

Agree with you, hate batting pitches. I think Test matches should be reduced to 4 days, and pitches should be made more bowler friendly.

Ponting's been really good. Batting isn't that easy and Australia have generally played well today. Deserves a century tomorrow.
Australia were 5/312 at stumps at the end of day 3 of the 2nd Ashes test v England
(take note India made less than England in the first innings)

Why not? Sure Sharma bowled well to him last match, and Harbhajans his bogey bowler, but that still doesn't change the fact he's a brilliant batsmen and will score runs more often than not.

Ponting won gainst Harbhajan today. Very good to see a batsman get the better of a bowler who has caused him problems in the past. You could tell Harbhajan was getting very frustrated.
no doubt Ponting is a brilliant batsman but if you put ur money on whether Ponting would do well or not (under or over 50) you'd go with the latter...
but thats just me
