AWTAMate, you've got such an 'Us vs Them' attitude it's not funny. Just sit back, relax and enjoy the game. I guarantee you'll feel much better. Bitterness never did anybody any good.

Can't work out whether you are being serious, or taking the piss.Lee wouldn't be that ungracious when getting a great batsman out for a century.
Haha, you only figured this out nowHayden has a problem with the ball coming in to him.
No it was just that we did not have anybody whose natural swing is into him in this match.Haha, you only figured this out now
I reported this post because your attitude and behaviour in this thread is souring it for everyone else. You seem completely and utterly unable to concentrate on the cricket, rather than the peripheral issues surrounding it.Mate, the Indians have been outed as immense hypocrites on a ridiculous amount of occasions in the last couple of weeks. Yet another example there.
Masterblaster said it well enough himself which you should listen to sideshowtim. Take it on board for the benefit of yourself and the forumMate, you've got such an 'Us vs Them' attitude it's not funny. Just sit back, relax and enjoy the game. I guarantee you'll feel much better. Australia don't need a win to draw the series though. Plus, it'd be stupid of us to try and bat quickly this far behind India's total. We saw at Perth what happens when you try and do that. I'm happy with our position at the moment. It is really amazing that India were scoring at 3.8 vs Australia at 2.85 per over at ~ 70 overs, almost a run an over faster. In a test match, hadnt really expected that either!
(If the situation was reversed surely folks would've accused India of playing for the draw already).
Another interestin stat.Hayden-

I don't think we're batting for a draw, I don't think we have any result in mind at the moment. I'm assuming we're batting for as long as we can and then assessing our position. It'd be stupid to play for a draw at 2 down in your first dig as most would acknowledge. The risk in trying to score at 4 an over is just too high though and increases India's chances of winning the match tenfold while increasing our chances of winning the match only a little bit.If Australia are actually going for a draw on day three of the match, I'd be astonished.
I agree they aren't. I was just responding to the suggestion they might be. I don't think they would so early in the game.I very much doubt they're going for a draw. It's more to do with the fact that the pitch isn't as good to bat on as it was day 1 & 2, and India are bowling well imo.
Ponting's shocking against the Indian side, especially in India where the pitches suit Harbhajan and co.I did not knew he was so bad in india.
Yeah, Ponting has never made a big score against India.Ponting's shocking against the Indian side, especially in India where the pitches suit Harbhajan and co.
I would like to see him step up and make a big score.
