Check my post history. I have always said when he bowls good spells, but I am not going to call him a good bowler until he does it consistently. Right now, he mixes up a great spell with a couple of rubbish ones.
Fair enough. Just seems like you set a different benchmark for Sreesanth than you do for guys like Irfan and Ishant. Perhaps you don't, not going to keep this going. Sharma looks great - let's end it at that.

Sharma is gonna be great for the future. I was very impressed with him in Sydney and while I haven't watched much of the Perth test, it sounds like he is doing even better! Time to get on the couch and get a beer I think.

For me out of 6 munaf is the most talented naturally but he has mental issues and needs to get his body fit.
Unfortunately, Munaf's issues are such that I don't think he will ever live up to the expectations that he built in his debut series. He may return as a mid-80s bowler with good accuracy but he could've been much, much more with proper fitness and attitude - these aren't just things that can be changed overnight through coaching either, he's just not a natural athlete and he clearly picked up some bad habits playing village cricket without any coaching during his childhood. Either way, he'll serve India well even if he can return in the aforementioned role.

How good was that cricket in Kashmir segment? One place I'm definitely going to see once I can afford it.

Australia are still well placed at 3-142 and showing why they are a world champion outfit. THey are batting with such determination out there.
Any other team would prolly be 5 or 6 down by now.
Hussey and Clarke are the key ytou feel for them.

For INdia, I think India bowled quite well in the session. THey will have wanted another wicket but AUstralia are not going to go down without a fight.
But I really feel for India to win this game they really need 3 wickets in the post lunch session.

I think Kumble has really gotta step up in the second session in order for India to win this game.
I would start with Kumble and RP after lunch.

So what are people tipping at this stage ?

I hoping for an Indian win but I've got a nasty feeling that Australia will come out of this as usual on top.

Agree with you mate. The match is very evenly poised and this could finish with an Aussie victory tomorrow morning or an Indian victory late today.

Kumble will be the key in the afternoon session, I think. He really needs to settle into a good spell (looked a little loose earlier). Hussey, especially, has me very worried. He looks so very focussed out there. Oh, and yes. Very well bowled Sharma. Always good to see Ponting get out. Especially for a low score. So satisfying.

Funny how each team's supporters are tipping the opposition for a win.

The way the Indian bowlers are making the most out of the pitch AND getting the ball to move in the air, I can't see Clarke, Symonds and Gilchrist providing the necessary support to Hussey to get us there. If we were chasing 320, I'd be confident, but those last 100 runs are going to do us in.

I would say that it is a slight edge to India. But nothing more.

If they get Hussey reasonably soon, then I would be a lot more confident.

45 is a 'low score'?

So now Ishant has taken over the bunny-stewardship of Ponting.
Eventually fell to Ishant, but could've gotten him several times
before he eventually did.
