Well I've just come back from a mate's house (watched most of what happened) and so far I'm happy with how Australia is doing, but this partnership between MS Dhoni and VVS Laxman would prove to be a huge partnership in the context of this match.
Atm I don't see Symonds and Clarke bowling Australia to success. Bring on Lee and Tait, maybe even Johnson for a breakthrough because these two batsman will play a key factor in the game.
Beautiful bowling by Stuart Clark and Brett Lee (especially before lunch). I said we needed about 4 wickets in the first session to have any chance and I was right again, but now it's up to the brains of Ponting and the skill of the bowlers to execute a match-winning performance.

I would want 400 before I even remotely feel comfortable, on this wicket, against this team. And even that, the Aussies can chase. Any other team, probably not, but the Aussies - they can.

Yeah, game is certainly out of our reach now. 317 is far too many as it is, with the ball swinging around everywhere. India will probably reach a lead of 450 considering they have a strong tail and 2 batsmen capable of putting on a massive partnership here.
