That would be good option, but I don't think IPL teams aren't looking for those kind of players..plus there wouldn't be much remuneration for those players.

Well if you've got Warne, Astle, Cairns, McGrath etc. and then you've got these Canadian players who have played only one WC group match and a few series with Namibia they obviously won't get as much money as the stars did.

Forget about Canadian players, Imagine players from Kenya, Scotland, Ireland who are really talented they could play in order to gain form, experience & exposure?

I have some Afghans at my school who are bloody good, better than the Indians there, believe it or not. Just pointing something irrelevant out sorry.

KNCB is a complete mess at the moment, still no head-coach....Ireland and Scotland getting 100x more support from the ICC and the ECB just take a short peak at the international schedual for non-test playing countries....read cricketeurope.com and you will see why Holland can only go down from here...
not many promising players coming up, yes some, but not enough to withstand the scotish young guns not to forget the Irish...boy they are good.

nope the future isn't orange....

Poor Dutch... But I think they have the talent to qualify for the 2011 Wc cause they are much better compared to other Associates (except Ireland, Kenya & Scotland). The real danger is for Canada & Bermuda as the Asian Teams such as Afghanistan, UAE & Oman are coming very strong. Dont forget the Africans, Namibia look very much in place with Uganda (as long as they dont spoil by themselves)... The 2009 Qualifiers should be the best till now! Wat say guys?

Vanuatu league brought forward:
The cricket season’s starting early in Vanuatu because of the national side’s commitments in the World Cricket League in Jersey in May. It’s been brought forward six weeks to give players the chance to impress. Port Vila’s premier cricket competition, the BDO Club Championship, will begin February 8 with eight teams taking part this year.

Bangladesh I would think..but Ireland and co. would provide some good resistance.
