They both hit the winning runs in their last ever Test and were both dropped to make way for Boycott's return.
Amiss was unlucky and none too pleased after scoring a double century against the West Indies in the final Test of the previous summer, a big hundred in India and a half century in the Centenary Test.

Just to clarify as Im not sure I understand the question. This is something that all nations have achieved apart from Bangladesh and Australia hold the record of those that have achieved it.

Roughly comparable to something like a group of guys have all run the 100m in under 10 seconds but sprinter A holds the World record?

Australia hold the record for having done it on most occasions, Bangladesh are the only Test playing nation who have never done it.
