Who has the power to dish out temporary bans? If it's only James then that should be changed to allow other moderators to do so if only for a few hours so we don't have to sift through the sort of drivel that is currently going on on Cricket Chat. If I want to read a half-wit going on about Nazi's and rapists I'll log on to the William Wordsworth Forum.

He was just about boring enough. But there was a small influx of "new" users in a very short time and most had a surprising (or not) good knowledge of the forum. Most were probably multiple account holders but not all were stupid enough to get an almost instant ban.

Believe me, it was. I had my doubts initially, after thinking "good lord, he's back!" as soon as I read a few of the posts having seen the likes of JBH001 and KaZo comment on the matter. But as I read more and more it became very clear, there's absolutely no doubt it was.
If it wasn't, it was some form of identical twin with almost identical and merely slightly more extreme views.
I've had enough tete-a-tetes with him to be able to spot him if he makes no effort to disguise.

I too thought that at one stage, but there are far too many other similarities for it to be dismissed, similarities across a broad spectrum - spelling of certain words, use of certain words and catchphrases, attitude to various members (including, crucially, myself), particular way with the use of quotes. And it's very obvious he was an old forum insider, you yourself even noticed that when you realised he knew James - located in Sydney - was a Kiwi. Who else do you have in mind?
It's only a 7-dayer. He may be back, though C_C did not return after a 3-dayer.
