Cricketweb Colts tour N.Z.

The Cricketweb Colts left for New Zealand today for a first class tour. Originally the side was scheduled to play first class and one day games, however with the new Development League beginning announced, both parties agreed that the one day matches would be abandoned in favour for first class games. The first game will be played on Tuesday, January 8 with the full schedule to be announced at a further date. All Cricketweb Colts players would be available for selection after the selection committee had discussed giving the international players a rest.

Cricketweb Colts Announce Tour Plans

The Cricketweb Colts and New Zealand Cricket today announced the full tour schedule for the Cricketweb Colts tour of New Zealand. Today the Colts will face Central Districts, with a match tomorrow against Wellington. The Colts will face Otago on Friday and will round off the tour with a match against New Zealand 'A' on Monday.

The Colts will then return home to prepare for their warmup matches for the Development League which begins on January 18.

All games will be broadcast live at kyleinfo which can be accessed through msn at mrkintheuk @ hotmail.com. Tonight's game will commence at 10pm.

Team will be announced closer to match start time. However, there is a whisper that the international Colt players could be rested for the opening game. However, at this stage it is only a whisper, not even a rumour.

Keep all and sundry posted as the night progresses.
