Plenty far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far more arseholeish cricketers than Jacques Henry. Matthew Hayden, for one.
Just because you don't like seeing him score runs and don't think he's very good doesn't make him an arsehole.

 If you'd constantly rubbished such a consistantly high quality performer and had to keep coming up with spurious arguments to avoid admitting you were wrong you would probably think he was an arsehole too.

I'd give the batsman not out, for immagination.
 Might as well go the whole turkey and award six. Or at least five penalty runs for the bowlinig side not thinking of it first.

...you're alright Wright. You're alright.

He's an arsehole besides not being very good. The two are unrelated.

I didn't come-up with the arguments to avoid admitting I was wrong; I formed the non-wrong opinion on the basis of the non-spurious arguments.

Nah, makes no difference to any timing of any sort. Nor did I think it remotely unlikely he'd score a century in the currently ongoing match, as I haven't for most of the last 5 years or so.

The arrogant sort of persona he tends to convey, simple as.
I guess you know this from personal experience. From my personal experience of Matthew Hayden, he's a top guy despite any persona (arrogant or otherwise) that he may exude on the field.

Andrew Symonds on the other hand

Well obviously I don't know Hayden off the field, and I don't really need to nor care either.
