Lot of experts are saying that 250 on this pitch is a very good target and India won't have it easy chasing that sort of a target, so its upto Ponting how he sets up this test match and how much time he gives to bowlers to bowl India out.

Nah, 250 won't be enough. Not on this pitch. The SCG of old is very different to the SCG of new. I think a lot of people forget that...

They can be very hard to call down the leg side, but at this level they should get them. Not as bad as the LBW; was low and straight and hitting middle/leg:ph34r:

I've captained Australia? :-O

Interesting that Hayden is struggling enough that Ponting is now acting as a runner. I guess Chris Rogers would be next person in line if Hayden's back is bad enough for Perth, unlikely that it is.
I'd take a 50% fit Hayden over just about anyone.

LOL @ Sharma. A wheelchair cricket team would be more mobile in the field.

LOL. Can it be any more of a farce?
Yes it CAN be and will be :@ Bucknor is determined to favor the Aussies. And what with Rick Ponting lodging the complaint againsyt Bhaaji (as Gavaskar VERY elqouently pointed out - what happened to the Aussie "what happens on the field stays on the field").

Ponting and Symonds - bunch of whiners and CHEATERS !! Double Standards all the way. Even Tony Greig challenged stupid Slater defending Ponting.

Ugh. Stop with the consipiracies. The umpires have just had a horrible match, and the match sucks now, but its not because they are biased.

Oh dear... 8-) .

Why don't we just gift this series to the Aussies. ****!
I thought we already did that. HAPPEN EVERY time they -play in Australia. How do u think they get this winning streaks. Complete joke. Where r u Michael Holding ???? He used to keep tabs on umpires 'mistakes' for and versus Aussies and one time he GAVE UP in one of the tests when it got to 7-2 in favor of Australia :@

Seriously WTF. Honestly, what is going on! We should ****ing just gift this ****ing series on a platter. And whoever said India can't be competitive... two words: gtfo, cuz it's only umpiring that's saved Aussies this game!

This game is done and dusted with.
