***Official*** India in Australia

Would any of you say Australia have taken India lightly following the 1st Test?

All the talk before this Test was about how the Aussies were going to beat the 16 Test wins record and it almost seemed as though they just had to show up and they'd win.

Perhaps they've taken it a bit too easy, and fair to India who have hit hard with some good bowling and good batting.
Maybe, but I think India have put their fate in their own hands with some very good bowling (especially) and some great batting.

IMO it's just that India are playing very good cricket atm.

India i think should win definately...there spin bowlers look so threatening

even if Australia bat for another two sessions... we can't be more than 5 or 6 down i think...which shows how hard it will be

Well 90-2 is not a great position to be in at lunch, effectively we are 21-2, so we really need to make sure we bat out of our skins and still be positive.

Jeez that Indian crowd was crazy in Mumbai, just watching some snippets of "An aussie goes bolly", cant wait for that on monday.

I severely doubt that. One thing Australia have had to try and combat for ages is complacency seeping into their games. I can't imagine they'd have taken India likely - they know what quality the side has on paper (but not necessarily shown all the time).

No.

India are the second best side in the world, and I don't believe Australia are as good as everyone thinks they are. This series is the first "test" they've had in tests for what, two years? It's just good cricket and bad cricket, no complacency.

Hussey strugling here, cant really see Australia getting a big score unless Gilly unleashes and the tail gets some runs from the fast bowlers.

Given Gilly's current form can't see him unleashing anything, so i guess it would have to be Hayden, Hussey and Clarke who would have to score most of the runs today.
