Bravo (the bowler) likes South African conditions it seems..
a bit jealous of the bowlers over there.. when i see bowlers in the current test in Syd having to slog it out :p ..*sigh
Brett Lee on current form, would be carnage tbh.

On the whole it has been a great series, good to see the Windies putting up a decent fight :)

Bloody good knock from Prince. Even though he bores me to death, I'm a big fan. Reckon he'll be a really solid Test batsman for a long while to come.

Don't think he'll be match fit in time. In the meantime, he's doing a great job as drinks carrier. After he brought some drinks on on Wednesday, he sat in an empty part of the stadium and loads of kids came to have a chat and an autograph. It was great to see.

Great knock from Prince, most of it has been typical Prince-scratching, but he played some lovely shots as well, especially those cut shots. I hope Steyn and Nitni hangs around so he get to his 100. A good innings from Boucher as well, he really looked furious when he got out.

Injured I think, otherwise he'd probably be in the squad, maybe even the actual Test side.
Yeah, they seem to have indicated they'll pick him when available. I really hope he doesn't get rushed straight back in as soon as he's fit without getting some fitness and form in domestic cricket first, though. Sure, he's impressed me when I've seen him, but he's played one test and he's been out of cricket for a while. I have a feeling they'll throw him straight into the lineup when he's over his injury but it'd be a mistake IMO. It's not like he's an integral part of the side who they desperately need to get back in there; he should have to prove his form and fitness in first class cricket.

Totally agree. However, with Nel in such poor form and Steyn likely to miss the 3rd Test and possibly be out for a bit longer, it wouldn't surprise me if Morkel comes straight back from injury and plays Test cricket. I'd far rather him get his confidence and rhythm back with a few FC games, because he wouldn't feature in a full-strength XI anyway, not IMO.

Smith, McKenzie, Amla, Kallis, Prince, De Villiers. MCK and DeV are two of my favourite players. And the others are in my bottom twenty. So many mixed feelings when I watch them bat. :D

Can't complain so far!

Great performance by Prince and Boucher. The defended their wickets when the pressure was high. And started scoring runs when the pressure dropped. That's what test cricket is about imo. This is simply a very interesting game!

I also hear about this bolter called Pollock who could be selected  .

Eh? Pollock should be in the side, no doubt. The selectors won't pick him though, and I'm not that confident he'll play the 3rd Test.

Sammy makes a hash of that. Could've been 5 for Bravo. Prince batting a little recklessly in the last few overs.

I'm really hoping Prince gets to hundred here, if only so the commentators can stop telling us how he hasn't scored a hundred in X matches. I don't think a 90 would get in their way.

Hasn't scored one for a year. Made runs in Pakistan though, unfortunately couldn't cash in against New Zealand.

Gone?!

What a **** up. Seriously, been really loose since Steyn has come to the middle. Not like he's shielding the strike either. Weird.

True, well at least the impression is there, but as longa s he is in the squad I am hopeful.

Also, can anyone tell me about M. Morkel? I know he has big wraps, but his FC stats don't warrant such praise, is he fast, a metronome etc?

:wallbash: No no no, Prince! Sad end to a very good innings. Hope Steyn and Ntini get the big shots out now.
