People don't realise that when they have their spelling mistakes pointed out to them, the person notifying them of said mistake is actually doing them a favour. I would love to know how you people email your bosses asking for a raise.

United doing okay. If we win every game from here on in, we win the league, so I can't really complain about that. I'm rather interested in seeing what kind of side SAF sends against our usual FA Cup opponents.

Also wondering how long Chelsea will keep their unbeaten-at-home record. I think 2008 will be the year that it ends, just a matter of who to...

There is a misplaced apostrophe and there is using an entirely wrong bloody asparagus in the first place.

Just because you understand what someone means (and you understood the above, in the smae way taht you usndrntead the snoecd hlaf of tihs setcnnee) doesn't make it alright.
tut tut

Yes it does IMO. Obviously in your working life you're going to look pretty stupid if you can't spell "he's" but IMO it shouldn't really matter that much. As the point of language is to communicate, then as long as you are communicating understandably, that's fine. No-one complained when Old English became what we have today, and it is fairly radically different in parts. So I don't see why everyone gets so uptight about faulty grammar/faulty spelling.

The people that get uptight are the people being corrected, because they know they've done basic things wrong. The getting uptight is a defensive mechanism which is basically saying 'oh i don't care anyway, it doesn't matter'.
The 'it's only an internet forum ffs' excuse is utter rubbish, as it's such an everyday thing thesedays.

Having said that, whenever we've played Kusczack, he's impressed, though i'd rather he wasnt our no in the future, as i cbf learning how to spell his surname.
Haha yes, though he hasn't impressed me at all. When he was playing FA Cup games last year he looked dire at crosses and his distribution is worse than Bosnich.

I agree that the shadow of Schmeichel has still not left, and this has contributed to some of the keepers being treated harshly IMO. IIRC Bosnich didn't do much wrong bar his distribution (though he could have dropped some clangers that I've forgotten), and bar a shocking run in Autumn 2001 (which he did recover his from from) Barthez was also very good IMO. Agreed that VDS was very shaky last year, and he still bottles the big games AFAIC.

Then why do you not capitalize your Is? Basically the same thing as your/you're that you're going on about earlier, it's just as wrong, gramatically.

getting fed up with liverpool tbh, spend loads of money, repeat the same success as the previous season, and although I used to like Benitez he's getting on my nerves, seems to moan at the referee waaay more than neccesary.

Not really fed up tbh, the longer it carries on the better.

oh yeah agreed in terms of their sucess, its more benitez than the club in general that I have a problem with at the moment tbh, its the way that he spends about £50m in the summer (some on players who have hardly featured) and then moans when come Christmas the team has been decidedly mediocre, and teams who have spent far less (chelsea and arsenal) are having much more sucess, but yet he still whinges when he doesnt get more money, I mean WTF!! hes spent loads already, if you cant assemble a decent side with what he had in the summer (loads of funds and a pretty decent squad already) then something is surely amiss, the fact that there is always a not so subtle dig at the referee always annoys me as well, its often these days we hear crap like "I'm a big fan of this referee, he had a great game today, but unfortunately he got the big decision WRONG and this cost us the match". Load of balls.

Not to mention that, once you come down to it, there is no reason that with the players he has he can't manage to win a home game against one of the other big four teams. He really doesn't need more players. I remember near the start of the season everyone (well, the pundits) was praising Liverpool stating that they arguably have the best squad!

I always thought having five talented central midfielders was a bit odd. Surprised Hyypia hasn't been farmed off to Bolton or some Arab club yet TBH.

Haha.

What is the Prison XI and Have Been Charged By The Police XI again?

On a different note, apparently Liverpool are interested in Nazio striker Goran Pandev. Another player brought up at Inter going onto star somewhere else.
Another fine Macedonian boy :D

SAF has apparently rejected a £2m from Newcastle for Wes Brown. Since he is out of contract, I would imagine SAF would be looking for a replacement who isn't European Competitions Cup tied as well before he would dispose of Brown, or let him leave on a free.

A commentator here once described Brown as potentially a great player who never makes it to greatness. I can assume he means that Brown is average. Granted this comment was in early 2005.
