Even if it ends in a draw and despite the umpiring, it's been a really good Test with nearly every passage of play enjoyable to watch. It will be sad not to see the record broken, but if it's any consolation you could argue that with Langer, Warne, McGrath and Martyn out, it's not the same side and they might not deserve such a record, to an extent. Dunno.

Hate to harp on about it, but just imagine the state of this test if Symonds had been given out on 30 odd now. There were a lot of comments about how that decision ruined the test, but could it have just been one of the many twists destined to make this test a classic? India would be well in control now if Australia had been dismissed for 150 odd and the test would be far less interesting for mine.

Three tons (one a double), three of which have been unbeaten, and a half-century in 7 innings is still pretty phenomenal.

Sinclair could have had 46 if he converted all those scores of 0 and above into tons as well, it should be noted.And Slater could've had 23
