Ricky Ponting, i know he wasn't exactly tearing bowling attacks apart in the world T20 but he is an awesome player and he is still to show his true potential in this form of the game but he has played a few good knocks to suggest that he can do well with ease in this format too and since T20 world cup is one trophy missing from the Australian trophy cabinet Ponting would personally make sure that they win it 09 by leading from the front.
Yuvraj, Hayden and Haq all are pretty destructive T20 players too.

Hayden, Gilchrist, Oram are all very good. Ponting is handy as is Jayasuria and Gayle.
