I'd say Martin is less talented than Murali because Murali can actually score runs, but Muralitharan is less determined to make runs. Martin doesn't seem to get out slogging - he just gets out through lack of ability.

He managed to put 93 with de Silva and another 80 odd runs with Tillekaratne in two innings that I could remeber. Chris Martin, Mullaly or McGrath was not known to do such things. And he can slog too. He might get out soon, but can score some annoying runs too.

Considering you're the only one who calls him that on the entire Internet it's not entirely surprising that no one recognised the name.
