***Official*** India in Australia

Shuffling the batting order to accomodate a one-inning-dead-pitch-wonder Yuvraj to screw a TIME-TESTED Dravid (thereby denting his confidence) and preferring Yuvraj over Sehwag. BIG MISTAKE. What was Kumble thinking ?? Gavsaker called this one.
Agreed - they need to go back the regular openers, push Dravid down, and get rid of Yuvraj. Sehwag can't be worse than the current openers - I'm sure he'll score more than 10 per innings.

Baby steps, baby steps.

Once again Tendulkar FAILED to score big one in either innings under pressure. He just cannot SAVE a Test under pressure or single-handedly win one. End of dicussion. A few classy/flashy shots and that's it.

India made TWO HUGE mistakes even BEFORE the Test started.

Second mistake was playing RP Singh instead of Ishant Shama. RP is a grat swing bowler in English-like conditions and playing 2 left-arm seamers with no 3rd seamer. Hello ??

Stick a fork in this one - this was over the minute India shuflled a well-settled and tim-tested batting order.
Why are there so many anti-India trolls?

NUFAN

Y no Afghanistan flag
People seem to be calling for his head - I'd keep him in the team.
I haven't heard anyone really say Dravid should be dropped.

He is safe ahead of Yuvraj and a bit ahead of Jaffer in the [who shall we drop because we aren't beating Australia queue].

What was the point you countered with? That there are others who also criticise the indian team? So...what'm I supposed to say? Why're you picking on Raghav then?
Erm, read the post again. Your counter is unrelated to what I said. No team is obligated to win. They can only attempt to win.

Then give your little moral lesson to Jono, not to me. "He started it".
What are you? Why are you acting like a 11 year old school girl?

Their criticism is always half-hearted/peripheral and doesn't identify the real problem with the Indian team, which is in fact lack of fight and sheer complacency. This causes problems in every aspect of the game, which are just symptoms of the real disease. I praise only SJS because in some of the posts in the Ind/Pak series, he identified this problem and talked about it.
You have x opinion of Indian fans. It doesn't mean you can start calling them fascists on the forum. We are here to judge cricket, not crap on fans for ****s sake.

Aahaha. Whatever higher moral ground you had has been completely razed by this little display. Pretty sad.
Not really, sadly. Huge difference in calling people idiots, fascists like you do and calling a point a view stupid.

With Inzi retired, is Ganguly now the worst runner between wickets in world cricket? Yes, IMO. Very lucky not to get unnecessarily run out in both innings now.

Easily. Can't fathom how he hasn't learnt grounding the bat in more than 15 years of playing cricket.

LOL @ Ponting bagging out Hayden's jump. That and Hussey's fit the other day have been awesome.

Dravid had a poor match but he had so many balls and he was thought out/got out twice. Jaffer contributed to his own dismassal a lot more. I would at least let Dravid go to the SCG to see if he has been able to use the time at the wicket.

Well i agree with this point of yours i think given Dravid's seniority and the fact that he has never enjoyed opening the innings much so atleast he should have been given an option to choose whether he wants to open or not, i am sure given Dravid is such a nice guy he would have still agreed to open for the team's sake but that is probably his biggest weakness.
