***Official*** India in Australia

Wasnt that the case with Murali, too?

(but tbf, I did not think MacGill bowled well in Hobart, was very unlucky in Brisbane though)
He was terrible in Hobart - but you have to take into account the injury he said he had (obviously, if it was just his excuse for **** bowling you don't take it into account).

Any predictions for how Australia will go when they bat? Should have a lead of 125 - 150 all up.

Anything 250 and above would be very difficult to chase in the fourth innings, IMO.

Not taking any thing away from Australia, they must have bowled very well (couldn't watch the cricket so far) but you have to wonder how much of the batting misery has been because India played just 1 tour game. You go to the best team in the world's bakyard and expect to match them with the plan of just 1 tour game? There is the bounce (which isn't there that much on this wicket) and there is also then kookabura ball.

On Australia, gun call by Top_Cat on Clark. Apparently, he has bowled superbly.

Booyah. buwhahahahahahaha!

India put Australia's 343 into perspective. Great bowling by Clark, with Lee and Johnson supporting well. Hogg had a hard initiation, but kept trying, so the jury stays out on him.

Some interesting decisions by the umpires - looks like Bowden made two howlers, one in favour of the Indians, and one against. There was also a square up for the Johnson 'not out' yesterday with Yuvraj getting a let-off on a similar appeal before his demise.

Really impressed with how well Clark bowled - the guy is just a gun.

It was good to see Tendulkar make some runs, but it was cut off too early from the point of view of a neutral fans enjoyment. I was quite happy to see the back of him from a parochial point of view, but was pleased to see him in good form - bodes well for the series.

 Idiots here claiming India are gonna get 600 and Aus all out for 343 is a "victory" for India, and my comments are considered irrational?

TBH, I think this place is under a bit of "you cannot criticise India under any circumstances" fascist rule, and I'm only glad that they're all out for less than 200 so their fascist fans can put their foot, leg and torso into mouth.
