About 100 times more class than Afridi. Has played numerous knocks of note in both Test and ODI cricket, but unfortunately still hasn't quite reached the heights he is capable of.

It was always on the cards though, when you think about it. Big shame that they not only lost 3 wickets, but they were their three best batsmen.

One could say the exact same thing about Afridi. They even started their careers the same way, as specialist spinners who were pushed up the batting order and unexpectedly hit hundreds at the top of the order.

Ashraful has been around a long time and he's not even 25 yet. He hasn't hit his peak and certainly has a lot to learn and can improve a great deal. His record definitely isn't flash but he's certainly a talented player and I look forward to watching him play in the rest of the series.

Personally I reckon this'll be his top score in the series. By a long way. Hope he proves me wrong though, he's one of Bangladesh's few chances of making this series competitive.

Are you sure Ashraful was ever picked as a specialist spinner? Admittedly I'm not very familiar with the start of his career, but I was always under the impression he was a batsmen who could roll the arm over, and never anything else. Afridi doesn't have the mental aspect to be considered as a class player, but both have underacheived so far in their career.
