I haven’t even heard of half of those Indian players 
This summer’s going to be fun.
Well this is who I’d like to see and I don’t really care if it’s the best or not. My competitive juices don’t flow very deeply.

The opening partnership is Hayden and Tendulkar because I feel both are currently in the form of their lives (Hayden perhaps moreso in the World Cup) and they can take the attack to bowlers with unrivaled consistency.
Afridi at three can really take the attack to bowlers and make use of the rest of the powerplays and the new ball in a swashbuckling manner. Kevin Pietersen still has some of the best statistics after 66 games with an average nearing 50 and strike rate nearing 90. Yuvraj Singh and Andrew Symonds are two of the world's best ODI batsmen, they can both nurdle and hit the ball a long way with good consistency, needless to say that both are brilliant infielders and both are handy part time bowlers.
MS Dhoni to keep and captain. The latter is almost by process of elimination (Dhoni is a good skipper though) but the former is because I did not feel Gilchrist gets into my side opening and that Dhoni does the better job down the order, Dhoni is a good finisher too. I also rate Dhoni as the slightly better keeper.
Pollock at eight in an all round role and for his tight economy in ODI cricket. He is also a fine finisher and good late order (or pinch) hitter. Underrated batsman and very tight bowler. Bond and Lee can open the bowling and with both over 140kph, they can rip through line ups on their day. Muralitharan has fantastic ODI statistics and is one of the all time great ODI bowlers, extremely tight and always picks up one or two wickets too.
